TGIF! The weekend is here, and with it, another opportunity for us to gather together as the Body of Christ, in praise and thanksgiving for all that God is doing in our lives. Fr. Canisius shares a special reflection in the bulletin this weekend, but why wait for the bulletin, just click below to read his message:
Archdiocesan Mental Wellbeing Initiative--As part of the new archdiocesan initiative to promote mental wellbeing and to assist our communities in coping with the emotional aftermath of the pandemic, the Archdiocese is exploring the possibility of providing the internationally acclaimed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training (www.mhamd.org) to parish and school staff throughout the Archdiocese. If you are interested in joining a cohort of trainers and are a certified MHFA instructor or are interested in becoming one, please send your name, parish, location, and contact information to Mary Ellen Russell at mrussell@archbalt.org.
Our second collection this weekend is a special collection for the Center for Pregnancy Concerns in support of their mission to protect the physical, emotional, and spiritual lives of women and their unborn children. Online donations can be made at www.ourstcharles.org by selecting the "CPC-Center for Pregnancy Concerns" fund on the donation form. Thank you in advance for your support of this critical pro-life ministry.
Attached is our bulletin for this Sunday, July 11th, the Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Be sure to see the special remembrance offered by parishioner Bill Seeley for Liz Turnbaugh, who we remembered at morning Mass this week on what would have been her 97th birthday.
